This wall light is for home or general use. The fitting has a polycarbonate body construction making it vandal resistant. The clear prismatic light projecting lens coupled with a bright aluminium reflector offers an excellent spread of light focusing on illumination across and downwards. This type of lighting is ideal for residential use avoiding light pollution. The fitting also comes with a fitted connector block and a cable gland to ease installation and also retain the fact that it is water proof .

One the advantages of sodium lighting is that is it able to provide lighting which is soft and does not have the harsh glare of Metal Halide (HQI) lighting. This type of lighting is ideal for residential use avoiding light pollution. Another advantage is the low cost of running this fitting, whilst only using 76 watts of electricity with an expected lamp life of 28,000 hours and providing the equivalent light to a 300 watt tungsten halogen with an expected lamp life of only 1500 hours.
